Do you offer house cleaning in Schengen?
Yes. The Tidy Troupe cleans homes in Schengen and the rest of the east & the moselle area: weekly and bi-weekly cleaning, one-time deep cleans, move-in/move-out cleans and carpet & upholstery cleaning.
Which service do you recommend for first-time clients?
A deep clean is recommended for all first-time clients. It gives us the time to reach every area that may have been missed in the past. After the initial deep clean, most clients move on to a recurring weekly or bi-weekly schedule.
Do you bring your own equipment and products?
Yes. We bring everything, including Dyson vacuums, Kärcher equipment and our eco-friendly cleaning products. You do not need to provide a thing.
Will the same cleaner come every time?
Yes, upon request, and we prioritise it. If your regular cleaner is unavailable, we send a vetted replacement and always let you know in advance.
What if I am not happy with the result?
We come back and re-clean the issue areas for free. That is our satisfaction guarantee on every visit.
What if something gets broken?
Accidents are rare, but we are insured through Foyer Assurances, with professional liability cover up to €15,000,000 per incident and damage to client property up to €25,000.
How much does a cleaner cost in Schengen?
The price depends on the size of your home, the type of clean and how often we come. Fill in the form and we send you a fixed price within 2 hours. Prices include VAT, all products and professional equipment. Our minimum is 60 m², and recurring clients pay less per visit than one-time cleans.
Do you have any current offers?
Yes. New recurring clients (bi-weekly minimum) can get their first deep clean free when the first 12 visits are paid upfront. Ask us on WhatsApp what applies to your home. No pressure, no obligation.
Do I need to be home during the clean?
Not at all. Most recurring clients give us access instructions and we clean while they are at work.
Can I trust your cleaners?
Yes. All cleaners go through background checks including criminal record verification.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes. Cancellations or changes more than 48 hours before your appointment are free; within 48 hours a €50 fee applies. No contracts, no lock-in.
Is The Tidy Troupe insured?
Yes, fully, through Foyer Assurances: general liability, employee theft protection up to €50,000, damage to client property up to €25,000 and post-service liability up to €2,500,000.
